Plogging - healthy for you and our planet
Seaweek (Kaupapa Moana) is taking place from 29 February to 8 March – New Zealand’s annual celebration of the sea. You can help keep our sea clean while keeping fit by getting involved in the Rubbish Challenge.
Rubbish never goes away and much of it ends up in the sea, harming our environment and marine life. So get plogging during Seaweek. Run, walk, bike or stroll, and take a bag and collect rubbish from your local beach, riverside, park, street, shopping area.
Get rewarded for your efforts
Keep it clean on the field and in the sea - go in the draw to win one of four double passes to the Hurricanes vs Bulls at Sky Stadium on Saturday 27 March. Entries close 8 March.
Plus, you could also score yourself a RefillNZ stainless steel water bottle, with three up for grabs.
To enter: Take a photo of yourself, on your own or with friends, post on Facebook or Instagram, with #rubbishchallengenz and @habithealthnz and @RefillNZ And, challenge three other friends to do the same.
So, get plogging!
