Filling the gap between Group Fitness Classes and One to One Personal Training are the new Small Group Personal Training sessions. SGPT provides a range of sessions offering the intensity of personal training within a group dynamic – meaning you not only have your trainer to answer to, you will also have a group of like minded individuals expecting you to show up!
Whether you are on a budget or just prefer the support of others, SGPT offers a number of specialised training sessions that maximise results.

A functional full body strength focus, prescribing exercises to increase the functionality and the use of the body’s “primal patterns”. Love to see people have fun with there workouts, as long as technique and posture is a priority. Body awareness is key for correct muscle firing and patterns.

Ian’s training philosophy is to focus on Mobility first, then Stability, develop Strength and finally convert that Strength into Power. His sessions consist of full body, functional exercises, with sound technique and postural awareness. They are always fun workouts (well... may be not always during the session!) with lots of variation.

Aaron believes that for your body to keep developing, your strength sessions must have lots of variety through both exercise selection and session structure. He focuses predominantly on full body functional movements whilst adding in core and glute stability exercises which will provide the body with the strength and balance it needs.

Swim Club

Kahu’s Swim Club class has a very friendly and passionate core focus that enables swimmers to move at their own pace, while enjoying it with their peers. It provides a full body workout along with technical guidance to further develop and improve swim strokes in a fun and creative environment. You will leave Kahu’s class feeling more confident, stronger and with greater swim potential.

FCT

Habit FCT (Functional Circuit Training) brings you the training techniques that many professional sportsmen are accustomed to. FCT combines the best parts of weightlifting, gymnastics, and athletics, to create challenging workouts, that keeps your body guessing, all while keeping you motivated. All this is done in our custom designed Functional Training Zone.

No work-out is ever the same.

HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?

All fitness levels are welcome – take the class at your own pace or be pushed hard by the Trainer.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO FCT?

Two sessions a week will see an improvement in your strength and fitness levels.

DURATION: 45 - 55 minutes

TRX

Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. TRX is a new category of exercise for all fitness levels.

SwimClub

Habit SwimClub offers a coached environment for developing solid swimming skills and technique. You will learn a variety of different strokes and training drills while having fun within a group dynamic. These sessions target learn to swim, beginners and intermediate swimmers and you will receive a monthly swim test to monitor your progression.

HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?

All fitness levels are welcome - take the sessions at your own pace while working closely with your coach.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO SWIMCLUB?

At least one session a week will see an improvement in your swimming and benefit any other swims you undertake.

DURATION: 45 minutes
TYPE: Low impact / skill based
CALORIES: 400-740
RESULTS: Improved range of movement and all over toning
